Maker of landfill compactors since 1985Before becoming a maker of landfill compactors, VANDEL, a subsidiary of the Van de Velde Group, developed in the ‘80s an activity for producing farm tractors with power ratings of 375 HP din. These products which are unique in Europe are operating in several African countries and in the Middle East. The Quantum landfill compactorsDriven by its success in high power tractors, VANDEL launched in 1985 a waste landfill compactor line on the market designed for waste landfills. In 2004, VANDEL took advantage of the Pollutec Show to unveil the latest member of its new Quantum family, the QS 650, the largest waste landfill compactor on the market and its new articulated carrier, the QS 1350, a giant in waste transport. While remaining the maker of the landfill compactors, VANDEL conferred to ECOLOMAT, a subsidiary of the Van de Velde Group, the rental of its landfill compactors. VANDEL began exporting to China with the sale of 2 QUANTUM 300 landfill compactors for the City of Zhengzhou (south of Beijing). In 2006, VANDEL obtained ISO 9001 certification, version 2000. |
